Services of worship and organisations
While we are unable to gather together physically on Sunday, we hope that you will be able to join us each Sunday at 11am as we listen to a service of worship. This is available if you click here. Whether you are on your own or with family we would encourage you, as is our routine, to listen and worship God each Sunday at 11am.
There will also be CD’s produced for those without access to a computer or internet.
Our desire is that although we are apart on Sundays we would continue to unite in worship, to the glory of God
Fit for Life
We were hoping, as usual, to run our Fit for Life classes through the months of May and June but due to current circumstances it is not possible to do so. However, Tony Farquhar has invited us to join him online with a class that he is running for his own church. We hope you can join in and feel free to share these details with anyone you know who many benefit.

While COVID-19 is having an impact on the lives of everyone, there are some who are impacted more than others. If you would like to help out, one way is through the Larne Foodbank at Craigyhill Methodist. Please note the following information about opening times:
Fri 10am -12noon
Food can be taken in during distribution times and it will be sorted the following Monday.
Care for congregation
Many in our congregation will be isolated in their homes at this time. This means that they may struggle to collect medication or even basic items for their homes. Therefore, we are hoping that we can assist in this by offering to help collect items that may be needed for those who are restricted to their houses.
If you feel you could help with this then please contact Rev. Glasgow
Pastoral Care update
At this time when so many restrictions have to be observed across the whole of society, and when much of church life has been put on hold, a decision has been made to “furlough” Gareth Keaveney as Gardenmore’s Assistant Minister. This has been done with Gareth’s approval, and came at the suggestion of those in the highest positions of responsibility in both Church House and Union Theological College.
This furlough will not be to the detriment of remuneration to Gareth but he will cease the duties as Assistant Minister as of 13th April 2020. Please remember Gareth, Jenna and Anna in your prayers and do keep in contact with them despite this temporary furlough.
Many have enquired as to how it is possible to give their offering in these times when our church does not meet Sunday by Sunday. There are two options, first, place your money into an envelope as usual and then put them all in on our first Sunday back together. Secondly, it is possible to give through your bank, if this is what you wish to do then please contact either Gary or Alex.
